Hear from Canada’s leading authorities on the issue of literacy in the context of today’s evolving technology.
On October 14, 2010, Frontier College’s Literacy & Technology Forum will bring together members of government, the Canadian business community and the Information Communications and Technology sectors to examine the importance of literacy and the work of Frontier College in their sectors.
Presented by Great-West Life and supported by CIBC, Compugen and Microsoft, this annual luncheon fundraiser will examine why literacy matters, how it affects the lives of Canadians and the short and long term costs and consequences of literacy on global technology and the economy.
A panel of prominent speakers will look at literacy in relation to technology, the economy and Canadian society as a whole.
