Frontier College is Canada's original literacy organization. In Ottawa, we recruit volunteers to work with learners in the following literacy programs. We screen and train all of our volunteers before they go into the community.

We run Homework Clubs at seven Ottawa Public Libraries, as well as at the Pinecrest Queensway Community Health Centre.
Volunteers in Ottawa run weekly Reading Circles at the following locations: Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa, York Street Public School, Old Town Hall Community Centre, Rideau Branch - Ottawa Public Library, Centretown Community Centre and Reception House. All of the programs focus on school-aged children.
