Brief Description
The Newcomer Homework Club provides homework, literacy and study support for children from newcomer families living in the Regent Park community. An adult ESL and literacy program is also offered at the same location and time for parents and other adults in the community. Learners are registered by the RPCHC. The program takes place at the Duke of York Elementary School. Volunteer tutors are from Frontier College and the Ve'ahavta Jewish Humanitarian and Relief Committee.
