PGI for Frontier College
Toronto/June 8, 2010
In 1986, celebrated Canadian journalist, Peter Gzowski, invited some of his family and friends to an informal golf tournament on his home course in Jackson’s Point, Ontario. When he said that he wanted to raise “a few bucks” for literacy it was the beginning of a long, prosperous, innovative and simple fundraising initiative. Today, the PGIs are the most successful literacy fundraising events in Canada, generating more than $10 million (net funds) and held in fifteen provinces and territories.
This unique golf experience features camaraderie among participants, the unexpected familiar face and the incredible and yet, undiscovered, entertainment exclusively at the PGI for Frontier College. Join us for the day, entertain clients or consider a sponsorship opportunity.
You’ll be in good company. The event is hosted by CBC Radio’s Shelagh Rogers and will feature lots of surprise guests, including Juno Award winners The Good Lovelies!
We know that you will enjoy the PGI for Frontier College – whether you are returning or joining us for the first time.
Welcome…
