DSC_0082-1.JPGFormer learners of the program: Melanie LaJambe Johnson, Geoffrey Nyero, and Taron Cheng all shared stories of their experience in the program and the impact it had on their lives. Taron, who is also a musician, played two wonderful pieces of music as a result of his participation at the Beat the Street program.

Gwen Lannaman, who is also a long serving volunteer tutor shared her experience from the perspective of a tutor in the program and the impact she saw on the learners.

The ceremony concluded with gestures of appreciation and mentions of displays in the room. Additionally, the ceremony was captured graphically by Disa Kauk. This wonderful piece of artwork now sits proudly at the Frontier College lobby.
