Put some spring in your writing with Creative Writing Club
Our spring Creative Writers Club began April 19 at the North Bay Public Library, and will run until Wednesday, June 7th. Each week we are exploring a different creative writing activity while also having a bit of fun with words and with word games. Writing activities will include experimentation with poetry, fiction, fairy tales, interviewing and even comics. While many of the writing activities are individual, club members also have the opportunity to share ideas, play some zany word games and expand their word power through a variety of group activities included in the program. The club is currently full of aspiring writers between the ages of 9 and 12, but you are still welcome to place a name on the waiting list. Contact the Children’s Department at the library for further information.
