Connecting Communities: Literacy and Poverty

Please join us to talk about literacy and poverty in Saskatoon. We will discuss the importance of literacy in reducing poverty, and the ways we can improve literacy education in our community.

In addition to the National Forum on Literacy and Poverty coming up in April, we are happy to host another conversation on this topic, as a lead-up to the National Forum. This Connecting Communities: Literacy and Poverty discussion will be on March 27th from 11:00am to 1:00pm (free – with free lunch included) at 315 Avenue M South (the CUMFI Building, where Frontier College Saskatoon is also located).

This discussion is open to everyone. We would love to have many people with diverse experiences join us to share their stories and knowledge – every voice is important! Please help us spread the word to anyone who you believe would like to add to this conversation. If you have people you would like to bring with you (classmates, friends, participants), that would be great!

If you or your group would like to join us, or if you have questions, please email us at or phone 306-374-7323.
